I absolutely uphold the rights of the Second Amendment. I think that the original intent was not for sports or recreation but for an armed populace to defend themselves from tyrannical government. But it’s a right in our constitution — not from the Scriptures.
Foolishness likes this obstructs the gospel, confuses the two kingdoms and makes the Church look like just another political action committee and lackey for right wing political ideology.
Who would celebrate gun ownership when we are called to celebrate Jesus and bare the Word that is sharper than any sword.
