I saw this story about a Goat being arrested this morning on the MSNBC site and the Sun.  It might be that I’ve lived here too long but I don’t see what’s so strange about this story – sounds like the right thing for the deputies to do.  I mean it’s not like they cuffed it and read the miranda rights.
