Saw this today. A terrorist drove a burning car into the terminal entrance at Glasgow airport. Seeing these sorts of evil acts is always sobering; to see it happen at a place your child has stood is particularly poignant.
My prayers are with ya’ll over there.
Cheers Scott, that’s much appreciated. Thankfully no-one was hurt, although the effect on the psyche is still to be seen. As you say, it is quite a culture shock to see somewhere you know so well caught up in this wider web of terror. People seem to be reacting the right way at least: the jokes are already starting to flow around the streets of Glasgow. Remember this is the part of the world that brought you the deep-fried mars bar – a sense of cheerful fatalism comes naturally.
Cheers buddy.
