Ancient Church Discovered

Pretty exciting discovery. Wouldn’t you know some of the earliest archaelogical evidence would be a memorial inscription: “The inscription, which specifies that Aketous donated a table to the church, indicates the house of worship predated the Byzantine era, when Christians began using altars in place of tables in their rituals, Tepper said.”
Seems fitting, most everything in a church has a plaque, “Given in memory of so and so by her grandchildren.”
